It’s a well-known fact that, in Italy, Mothers are celebrated every day of the year. 'Festa della Mamma', in May, officially celebrates Italian Mothers and the whole family comes together over a traditional feast. Taking inspiration from Festa della Mamma, we’ve created a special menu, for our own Mother’s Day, which, if you didn’t already know, falls on March 26th. On a day that’s all about doing things together, fittingly, our menu features some of our favourite sharing dishes.
You’ll be in Mum’s good books from the start, as everyone in your party will arrive to a glass of Prosecco. A mixed platter of our vegetable fritto misto, arancini and broad bean, pea, mint & ricotta bruschetta will follow. The feast continues with a choice of spaghetti vongole or roast stuffed pork with lentils & radicchio to share, accompanied by zucchini, Parmesan & basil salad.
We’re firm believers in leaving room for dessert. Our orange polenta cake is served with mascarpone and a tangy orange syrup and is the perfect end to your meal. There’s a portion for everyone, because nobody wants to share dessert (not even on Mother’s Day)!
